TFTP transfer not working on Sierra

I am having some issues trying to transfer files using the built in TFTP server. I can start and stop the server but all transfers from SecureCRT are timing out. The tftp.log is showing the following messages:

Sun May 14 21:07:18 2017,1841,,Starting server on
Sun May 14 21:08:22 2017,1841,[::ffff:]:65118,A request with an opcode of 2 was received by server.
Sun May 14 21:08:22 2017,1841,[::ffff:]:65118,The TFTP transfer of emmyap-confg was started successfully.
Sun May 14 21:08:22 2017,1841,[::ffff:]:65118,Error writing data to transfer socket: Invalid argument
Sun May 14 21:08:22 2017,1841,[::ffff:]:65118,Transfer of emmyap-confg from [::ffff:]:65118 failed, partially received file has been deleted.

I've also made sure to add permissions on the TFTP directory and also tried creating (touch) an empty file beforehand, also adding full permissions. This is occurring on both macOS Sierra and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. Also happening in SecureCRT 8.1.1-1319 and 8.1.2-1362

I'm currently running -

macOS Sierra 10.12.4
SecureCRT 8.1.2 (build 1362)

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello rcahill.

The problem you are experiencing is related to a problem with SecureCRT and TFTP transfers that include IPv6 addresses and it has been resolved in a newer version of SecureCRT. Please contact us at support@vandyke.com, referencing this forum thread so that we can make a pre-release version of SecureCRT available to you that fixes the problem.

Thank you.
