![]() After I entered the shell successfully, it's tab name was changed to $PS1 automatically. If I have several tabs, I can't distinguish them if just by tab names. I checked the setting, but coudn't find the way to close the tab name automatic change. So, any solution? Thanks in adcance, Last edited by jdev; 12-02-2019 at 10:40 AM. Hi Ethson Liu,
If you enable Ignore window title change requests in the Terminal / Emulation / Advanced category of SecureCRT's Session Options the issue should be resolved. You can employ the power of editing the Default session to make this change to all of your existing and future sessions. Here are some links to tips and a video that provide more details about using the Default session to make mass changes to multiple sessions: https://www.vandyke.com/support/tips/defaultset.htmlSince you would be making a change that affects many sessions, the recommendation is to export your config as a backup as a best practice. That can be done from the Tools menu (Export Settings), you would just specify an XML file where the info should be exported.
