Post Can't Get ssh Working Between My MacAir and Linux Box

Hi,

I have been trying to get ssh working at home between my MacAir (MacOS Mojave 10.14.6) and Linux box (Ubuntu 18.04 LTE). I can ssh from Linux to Mac, but not Mac to Linux.

I had tried to solve my problem with a friend of mine who is a senior Linux administrator and in the Apple forums, the latter for ~3 weeks and the discussion fizzled out with no success.

Ill provide some basic info in a reply.

I could not see my thread nor (of course) reply before. Probably because I am such a new user.
