Session Manager - Change location of dock

Is it possible to change the location of the Session Manager window from left of the session window to the right of the session window?

Hi kjenney,

Are you using SecureCRT for Windows?

It's possible on any platform, but on Windows you will have some visual aids to accomplish your objective. Basically grab Session Manager by its title bar and start moving it, arrow icons will appear in the terminal window directing you to the four possible drop zones (right, left, top, bottom).

See attached.

I'm on a Mac - 10.11.1.

I got it to work by dragging over the main window about 10 times.

There are a number of bugs with the screen positioning on El Capitain. One of which is this window dragging. When I moved the Session Manager window over the main window it resizes itself (vertically smaller). "Docking" the Session Manager is not an easy task and requires a lot of patience in this environment. How can I submit bug reports?

Thanks!

Hi kjenney,

I am glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue. Apparently the library on OSX did not include the "cool icons".

SecureCRT version 7.3.6 is going to be the first version with support for El Capitan. That release is scheduled for December 1. If you like, I can make a build available to you in advance. Just send an email to support@vandyke.com and reference "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #12164". Please include the email address associated with your download account if other than the one you write us from.
