SecureCRT 6.1.0 Wont Close under Vista.
Occationally under Vista - the SecureCRT window Wont close. The window can still be active - i.e. communicating with the Host - but the window or application cant be closed (X doesnt work ALT-F4 doesnt work - not even killing it from the task manager). Not sure whats up here. (hope i dont get a "Vista Sucks" response - which of course in some cases it does ).
Thanks! D> |

Hi Dawild,
We have had reports of something similar happening in SecureCRT. We do have a resolution for this issue which should also resolve what is happening here. Could you send me a message and reference this forum thread (3169)?

It seems like i have the same problem. When i have the "Confirm when closing multiple tabs" checked and then try to close SecureCRT while there are more then one connected session there is a dialog asking me if i want to disconnect from all sessions. If i click "No" once then i'm not able to close SCRT anymore and the only way is to kill the process from Task Manager. This happen every time so it's easy to reproduce.
This seems like a bug to me and nothing to do with Vista, but if there is a resolution to this problem could you please post the solution here or send me an email? Thanks in advance gan |

Hi Gan,
A change was made to a pre-release version of SecureCRT. Please just send an email using the link and information in my previous post so I can provide the installer to you.
