Version 8.5 for Mac pasting last commands on left mouse click
I have SecureCRT 8.5 installed on Mac OS 10.14.6. It's behaving in a way that I've never seen before. When I click on the terminal window, with the standard left click, it pasts the last command I typed. If I click again, it pastes the previous command that I typed, as if it's interpreting my left-click as an up arrow (to scroll through previous commands). This is driving me insane

Solved
It appears that I've solved my own problem, though it makes no sense to me. Under "Session Options", on the "Terminal" page, under "Mouse", I had "Position cursor on [left] click" checked. I changed it to [ALT+left] and now the dreaded behavior is no more. Like I said, it makes no sense, but it works. All's well that ends well.

Hi ofmanyone,
You beat me to the punch! I was just about to ask you if you had the "Position cursor on [left] click" option enabled! ![]() Another option you might find useful is "Copy on Select", which allows you to automatically copy any text that is selected. If you needed to copy an entire line, you could simply click and drag your cursor over the desired line and have it auto-copied into your clipboard. This feature can be found by navigating to: Options > Global Options > Terminal. Have a wonderful rest of the day!
