Exclamation Mysqldb, Python, SecureCRT

Folks,

I am trying to get SecureCRT to run Python against the terminal and then grab some data and put it into a MySQL Database. I can not get this to work. I followed the example that was given for how to import modules. I dont know for sure, but I am getting the sense that this needs to be .pyc file.

I am running windows with SecureCRT 8.3.1

Also lets get \s into regular expressions within syntax highlighting :-)

Thanks,

Russell Streitenberger

Hi Russell,

There is not enough information about the first issue for us to assist.
  • What problem are you trying to solve?

  • What does the objective have to do with importing modules?

  • What errors have occurred?

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to support substring and phrase matches in keyword highlighting. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #13178" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
