question to change sys.path

I want to create a python script to run in SecureCRT 8.7.3, the script will look at a text file for variable.
I have checked some other post recommend to use configparser but I have failed to import it when I run the script.
I have gone through some post in the forum saying that the modules need to be find by SecureCRT in the sys.path. I found that in my sys.path, that is using Python 2.7 however I want to use Python 3.8 and I have already installed Python3.8 with configparser.

Would you please help if there are any method to modify the sys.path to pointing the path to Python3.8?

Thank you

Best Regards,
