Undo split screen?

I have multiple sessions open with tabs for each across the top, sometimes when reorganizing the tabs I end up with split screen with two sessions in the main window. This is always for me an accident and I have no use for this ability.

Problem is, I don't know how to undo it without closing the whole thing and starting over.

Not sure what this is called so I have a hard time trying to search for it.

I'm sure this is easy, but I've been unable to figure it out.

Example:

Hi krelvinaz.

There are two ways you can get a split screen in SecureCRT. One way is to open your Window menu and choose to tile your session instead of using tabs. The other way is to right click a session from the session manager and choose "Connect in new tab group". If you accidentally opened a session in a new tab group, you can drag the tab associated with that session to the tab group on the other side of the window with the other tabs.

Does that help you to un-split your screen?

Thanks

JJH

Click the 'Window' drop down menu and select "Single Tab Group"?

There is third way, but I have no idea to reproduce it. On typical day, I have multiple session tabs and by clicking a tab, sometimes it accidentally goes to split mode. I've attempted to do it on purpose, but no avail. The unfortunate split-enable happens on a click, and it doesn't involve any dragging or similar. Looks like the likelihood of this happening is highest after bringing up the PC from sleep. This happens to me at least once a week and initially I had to spend an hour in attempts to undo it.

Is there a way to disable this or make it MUCH less sensitive?

Jari Turkia

Hi JaTu,

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm hoping that some additional information will help me better understand the behavior you're seeing.

What version of SecureCRT are you running?

What Operating System is SecureCRT running on?

Can you describe what the SecureCRT window loos like after it has "split"?
