Hi nbanik,
The attachment failed to attach (probably due to your moderation status). What version of SecureCRT are you using? On what OS/platform? Please send the screenshot to support@vandyke.com and attach the screenshot to that email (and answer above questions). Please include Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #14015 in the subject line.

Hi nbanik,
I could see screenshot after all. Is that a valid path (C:\software\Secure_CRT_Logs\)?

Yes. Valid. It prompts for file name. If i give file name....it saves that location. I want to save logging without promting file name. My version is 8.3.

Hi nbanik,
Please post screenshots of the prompt and also the filesystem where the logs are being written.

I figured it out.
It was a silly mistake. It was Y%-%M-%D-%h-%m-%s--> It should be %Y-%M-%D-%h-%m-%s--> % should be before Y. I placed it after Y. Anyway it worked. I'm happy. But securecrt should give an exception for such error. |

Hi nbanik,
Nice catch, that part was not shown in your screenshot unfortunately. Quote:
