Hi tachy0nflare,

Based on these lines, it seems to be a problem with the remote device (that's the "peer"):

Is this device capable of server-side logging?

What's the size of this file?

Can you download a .tar file from the device?

Hi Brenda,
I ran some debugging on switch side, I receive the following, not particularly informative:

Apr 5 2011 02:42:58 UTC: SCP: [22 -> 10.11.14.20:51857] send <OK>
Apr 5 2011 02:42:58 UTC: SCP: [22 <- 10.11.14.20:51857] recv C0666 25477120 c3560c405ex-universalk9-tar.152-2.E9.tar
Apr 5 2011 02:42:58 UTC: SCP: [22 -> 10.11.14.20:51857] send <OK>
Apr 5 2011 02:42:58 UTC: SCP: [22 -> 10.11.14.20:51857] send Write failed

The file is about 25 Mb.

The file is about 25.5 Mb. I pasted some dummy files, works just fine, but not the tar.

Except it does note it's sending the Write failed. There's just no info as to why.

I'm not sure our developers can shed any more light on the issue, but I will need more verbose logging (and one from the beginning of the connection) to submit a bug report. Since this can contain sensitive info, please send an email to support@vandyke.com and reference "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #13343" in the subject line.

Thanks Brenda, I just sent some additional information as you requested. I am not sure what other debugging enabled I can enable to isolate the issue. Let me know if you require something specific from me.

Best regards,
Jaffer
