Backup of show vlan command on Catalyst Switch

Hi

I have a little challenge. I need to find a solution for getting the output from "show vlan" command of multiple switches.

I know it would be easier to backup vlan.dat but in this case it is only the information about the vlans I need.

I have the SecureCRT program and I found that it is possible to receive the ACSII code manually and then save it as .txt

Is there anyone who knows if this can be automated?

Hello skjensen,

While it sounds like you only need to capture the results (log) of one command, this script example illustrates how you can connect to a list of hosts that is saved in a file and run commands from a file and log the results.
