Any chance we can get that filter bar to look at the session folder names as well?

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability to search on session description, session hostname, etc. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

and if you like to know the use case to progress this request a bit..

We support our devices at different customers.. Logically the folder names are the customer names. Inside the folders are the devices names/types we support for each customer.

For us it is much more logical to quickly search for the customer name and find all the devices we manage for that customer.

Hi all,

The ability to filter a search on folder names also has been added to a pre-release version of SecureCRT.

If you would like to try the pre-release build, please send an email to support@vandyke.com and reference Pre-release with Folder Filter Search in the subject line.

Making the pre-release build available requires a download account so if not writing from the email address associated with your download account, please include that info in the body of the email.
