Session Manager
I'm running 7.3.0 Build 597 (7 Aug 2014).
1. How do I re-dock the session manager to the terminal window? 2. Can the session manager (undocked) be changed to respond to a cmd-W (close window)? I don't move my hands from the keyboard much and this is annoying. 3. Feature request --> Set session manager to close after session is open. Thanks. |

Hello chillyjim,
For #1, admittedly, it is not nearly as intuitive in SecureCRT/Mac as in SecureCRT/Windows (see attached). You don't get the "arrow icons" on the Mac version. Session Manager's titlebar needs to be pretty much in the center of the vertical/horizontal space. You should still get a highlighted area indicating when it is ok to release. Does this help? I have added this thread to several feature requests in our product enhancement database:
If you prefer direct email notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #11659" in the subject line. Regarding #2 and #3, are you aware of the auto hide functionality? This can be enabled from Session Manager's context menu. Does auto hide give you the desired behavior?

Thanks I got the manager redocked. Yeah just very picky.
As for the "auto-hide" I'm now feeling stupid, I can't seem to open the session manager's context menu. |

Hi chillyjim,
You should be able to get the context menu from a click with the non-primary button (typically right-button-click), in the Session Manager area (or with a session selected).

Works with a "real" mouse not my touchpad. Thanks.

Hello chillyjim,
What is the Mac OS version your machine is running? Are you saying you cannot get the context menu to open at all with the trackpad? What options do you have for the trackpad's configuration of a right-click? (System Preferences / Trackpad / Point & Click -- could vary depending on OS, I suppose.) Do all fail?
