SecureCRT doesn't save my login user

Hello VanDyke Community,

i have a weird problem and hope u can help me.
I saved my default user (have ca. 200 server in my list and have the same user everywhere) into the "Default Session" and also in each session. So "Session Options" -> SSH2 and "Edit default session" -> SSH2 and also "mark every session" -> right click -> Properties -> SSH2.
I am working with PKI Card with PKCS #11 certificate.

But everytime when i wanna switch to another server in the server list, i have to write my userid.

In the past it remembered after the first login my userid and for another connections i hadn't to type my userid again.
Now i have to type it everytime.

It's hard to explain.
I hope you understand my issue. ;-)

Thanks for help.

Hi sudo,

So are you saying you do see the username info saved in the sessions when you open Properties/Session Options for the sessions?

Or the info is not being saved?

If the latter, then it's likely a permissions issue. You would need to have write permissions on your config location.

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

On what OS?

The location of your config is found in the General / Configuration Paths category of Global Options. If you go to that location (using the file system), do you have write permissions (specifically on the Sessions subfolder)?

If you do see that the username info is being saved to the sessions, we'll need to investigate the specifics further.
