Transferring Session file From Ver 5 down to Ver 4

I copied my version 5.2 config/session files to a machine with version 4.13.

The files loads, the parameters all appear correct in the properties windows. However, when trying to connect, an error occurs 'Invalid Protocol: SSH2"

Any fix for this (other than "Upgrade everyone to version 5.2")?

Hi ScottMac,

Sounds like there is a compatibility issue with the INI file between release 5.2 and release 4.13. Could you upload your INI file or a portion of the INI configuration relating to the connection protocol.

Hi Scott,

There is a slight difference in the ini file between 4.1.x and 5.2.

The difference is in the capitalization of the protocol name.

If the line:

S:"Protocol Name"=SSH2

Is changed to:

S:"Protocol Name"=ssh2

Then the session should not display this error.
