Hi! I'm using SCRT to connect via SSH2 to some CentOS servers.

Every attempt I get this prompt:

Hi olfativo,

Thanks for the question. It looks like you are using SecureCRT on Mac OS X. SecureCRT on Mac OS X enabled use of the Keychain by default. If you disable the option, you should be able to save a new password. You can find Use Keychain in the Terminal / Advanced category of the Global Options dialog.

Does disabling the option resolve the issue?

We also have a pre-release version of SecureCRT that resolves the issue. If you would like to try it, please send a message to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Pre-release version of SecureCRT that can update passwords saved in Keychain.

Hi olfativo,

Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear that disabling Use Keychain resolved the issue.

The change in behavior to allow saving new passwords to work with our Keychain implementation will be available officially in the version of SecureCRT that is released after 6.7.x for those that are interested.
