Mosh protocol

Hi,

Recently I've been using the MOSH protocol, which superimposes itself on SSH to provide a less connection oriented shell.

Advantages of MOSH include:

• When you close (sleep) and reopen your laptop, MOSH clients are still connected, you can type into them right away
• When a mobile hotspot drops and reconnects, Mosh goes on without requiring you to reconnect
• When a connection is slow, Mosh shows the characters you typed

Is there a way to use MOSH with SecureCRT?

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for better handling of intermittent network outages (mosh, autossh, SSP protocol on UDP). Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

Thanks for your reply.

I just reopened my laptop and was greeted by 7 connected MOSH tabs instead of 7 disconnected SecureCRT tabs. This really looks like a must-have feature.
