Unhappy vshell connection

Testing it with our root server account and getting this message

"Received disconnect from 125.n.n.n: 11: Authentication of user root failed due to account restrictions"

This is on AIX platform, 5.3
What does this message mean? It's saving the key to the known hosts without an issue. If I switch off from vshell to regular ssh, no problems connecting.

However...if I try to use any other test account, I get a password prompt and it won't let me login using the correct password. It just keeps prompting me. Is this part of the same problem? some kind of permissions issue? I can't seem to isolate it very easily.

Hi Colivas,

I received your email also and have replied.

Basically, many Unix/Linux systems have restrictions on the 'root' account preventing this account from accessing the system remotely.

When this restriction is in place, this message will appear.

Do any other accounts have issues connecting or only 'root'?
