Hello Sharan,

SFXCL return codes are not fully documented. Typically we use the SFXCL log file to determine the issue.

If you included /Log <log_filename> as part of the SFXCL command when the error was generated, please send the log file to support@vandyke.com.

Please include "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #10234" in the subject line.

I have added this thread to a feature request in our development database to provide and document more meaningful return codes from SFXCL. Should a future release of SecureFX include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct e-mail notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #10234" in the subject line.

As of SecureFX 8.3.x SFXCL will return an exit code that falls within the following range:
  • 0 (SUCCESS)
  • 100 (Network error)
  • 200 (Source file system error)
  • 300 (Target file system error)
  • 400 (General failures)
If you would like to evaluate this new functionality you're welcome to download 8.3 or newer and give it a try.

If you have any questions or feedback related to this functionality please let us know!
