Interrupted system call

When I right-click open a file on a Linux server I get "Interrupted system call". If I right click open with the file will sometimes open and show the file but other times it will open the editor blank.

How do I open a file in my editor, edit it, and save it back consistently?

Hi m4him7,

The interrupted system call message originates from the remote system.

What protocol are you using to connect to the remote server?

What types of files are you trying to open?

Using what editor?
