The process exit code was "-536870884"

Hello,
I'm using SecureFX to download ZIP files from other server.
I call to SecureFX, using a commands line calling it from a SSIS.
This mornig, I have got an error and regarding the log file, I have found this error "The process exit code was "-536870884"". I'm not sure this error about. Perhaps, error in the conexion with the server or the ZIP files weren't downloded on the server.
Could you please to help me in order to resolve this?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sendamí

Hi Sendami,

I will need a little more information to understand what is causing the process to exit with the error code you have provided.

What version of SecureFX is running?
Version information can be found in the 'Help/About SecureFX...' dialog.
Could you create an sfxcl log file by adding the /Log <log_filename> parameter to the sfxcl command line, and send me the log file resulting from a transfer attempt?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay.

The securefx version is: Version 4.0.2 (build 299) - Official Release - January 18, 2007.

I'm not able to get the error log.

Do you think this error could be dued to SecureFX configuration?

Thanks in advance,
Regards

Hi Sendami,

Would you be able to post the command you are issuing?

Are you able to issue the command manually rather than using SSIS?

HI Todd,

I am also facing the same issue with secureFX using SSIS. I am able to run the command manually in command prompt and getting the expected result. When i use the same command in SSIS i am getting an error as "The process exit code was "-536870897" while the expected was "0".".

Can you please help me in resolving this issue.

Regards,
Prasanna.

Hello Prasanna,

Thanks for the question. To assist with this problem, I really need to see a log file that is generated by SFXCL. Please send the log file to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Attn: Todd - Form thread 3320.

As of SecureFX 8.3.x SFXCL will return an exit code that falls within the following range:
  • 0 (SUCCESS)
  • 100 (Network error)
  • 200 (Source file system error)
  • 300 (Target file system error)
  • 400 (General failures)
If you would like to evaluate this new functionality you're welcome to download 8.3 or newer and give it a try.

If you have any questions or feedback related to this functionality please let us know!
