Using vi in ssh2 session

It's probably me, but...

I'm at the command line for a session and type in 'man lpq'. Instead of the man page scrolling the session text gets replaced with the man page. When I exit then I'm taken back to the command line, but the line above is the line where I typed in 'man lpq'. Is there a way to control this behavior so that I can scroll back into the man page for information I need to enter the command I just looked up?

Using SecureCRT 8.1.4

Dan

Hi dlbannerman,

You may be able to get the behavior you're looking for by disabling the Alternate Screen Switching mode. This can be done by navigating to Options > Session Options > Terminal > Emulation > Modes and removing the check next to Enable alternate screen switching.

Does making this change give you the behavior you're looking for?
