cannot edit default session (modalSession has been exited prematurely)

Hi all.
I copied my configs from windows machine to mac. It was folder Config and
Identity and Identity.Pub files.
There was alternate keyboard emulaton file at my windows machine.
SO i want to edit it's path.
I go to "Edit default settings" - "terminal" - "emulation" - and i try to change path or just uncheck checkbox.
The i try to press Change all session button but i feel that widow is closes.
i looked at /var/log/system.log at i see
Code:
SecureCRT[989]: modalSession has been exited prematurely - check for a reentrant call to endModalSession:
How can i edit default setting ?

Hello emoxam,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

What is the Mac OS?

I am not sure what you mean by the above.

Are you saying that SecureCRT crashed?

Or did you get an error message (other than what was found in System log)?

It sounds like the steps you took were correct, but this tip on our website describes how to make changes via Default Session.

I guess it was insufficient rigths. I give 777 on folder COnfig and now i can change default setting.
What was happening - the window closes before i release the right mouse button on button ..."for all sessions".
What i try to say - maybe it will be a good idea to check rights on configs at secure crt startup.

But problem with fonts is still persissts.

Hello emoxam,

Thanks for the update on the permissions issue.

Please list the explicit steps you are following to try to change the font.

Is this still something you are trying to change in all sessions via the Default Session mechanism?

Or are you just trying to change the font in one session?

Thanks Brenda for your fast replies. While i change session option - the fonts changes immediately, but when i change Global session options the fonts changes after application restart.

Hello emoxam,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

I believe what you are experiencing is an unintentional change as a result of the addition of the Session Manager in v7.2.x.

I have a new build available that should resolve the issue. This fix is in a v7.3 build.

If you would like the information to download the new build, please send an email to support@vandyke.com and reference "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #11443".

Please write from (or include) the email address you used to register for your VanDyke Software download account.

If you do not have one or have not downloaded an installer in the past, please state whether you want the integrated or non-integrated installer.

Also, I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability for SecureCRT/SecureFX to check permissions on config at startup. Should a future release of SecureCRT/SecureFX include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct e-mail notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #11443" in the subject line.
