how to close tab in kubuntu ?
Not ctrl+w nor ctrl+f4 does anything.
Can i set up keys to close tabs ? |

Hi emoxam,
Are you still using Kubuntu 13.04? Can you confirm that your OS environment doesn't already have those keys mapped to perform another function? |

Kubuntu 13.10. I don't know about all global hotkeys but i didn't make such a combimatuion by my own. I created ctrl+n for "clone", and ctrl+w for "close" "mapped keys", but i can't make it on ctrl+f4, it ignores me.. can you confirm that i can't make ctrl+f4 ? Or this is my missconfiguration ? |

pardon! there was a global hotkey to select 4th desktop
![]() so ctrl+f4 works by default, just delete such system hotkey. |
