Max Columns: 132 or 1024?
Hi,
The Help documentation says I can configure up to 1024 logical columns in the "Terminal/Emulation" settings section. However, If I try to enter a number greater than 132, I'm told in an error alert "Please enter an integer between 20 and 132." For some reason, the alert is displayed twice. I go for wide terminal displays for programming tasks, and would like to use 140 columns or more. I can live with 132, but it cramps my style a little. Is this a bug in the code, or an error in the documentation or some kind of cockpit error? I am running beta 7 / build 991 on Windows XP Pro. Thanks. Randall Schulz |

Randall,
There is a "Maximum columns" setting under the Terminal/Appearance category of the Global Options dialog. If you change the maximum number of columns to 1024, then restart SecureCRT, you will then be able to change any of your session logical columns to 1024. I hope this helps. Thanks, Chris |
