With this new beta release there is a field on the toolbar for quick connect to a host which is a nice feature, but no option to choose protocol. Would it be possible to add some kind of protocol selection toolbar button beside this field? For example a button with a dropdown select list for the protocol to the right or left of this field or some easier way to switch between protocols.

I know i can change the default, but when connecting to hosts using telnet and ssh it's a bit annoying having to change the default each time before i can use this new feature. In that case it's easier to use the old quick connect dialog where i can choose protocol as well.

The new connect bar allows you to specify the protocol on the fly. As examples:

ssh2://user:p4$$w0rd@myhost.com
telnet://myhost3.com
ssh1://user@anotherhost.com

You can also use the same format of supported command line options, as examples:

/SSH2 /L myusername /PASSWORD myp4$$W0rd myhost.com
/TELNET myhost 20001

Additionally, you can specify existing sessions within the connect bar, as examples:

/S mysession1
/S myfolder/mySubfolder/mySession1
