SecureCRT multiple fonts on different tabs

Hello,

I've changed a font for only one session.
If I launch this session, the font is working well (font X). If I open other session (with font Y) on tabs in the same window, the font Y is not applying but the font X is.

Hi Rian,

Correct, this is the designed behavior and you should have seen a dialog informing you of the "first tab dictates font and geometry" behavior the first time you opened multiple tabs (as shown in the attachment).

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability to maintain independent row, column, font in tabs. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

Some time ago you expressed interest in having the ability to maintain the font specific to each session when launching sessions in tabs in SecureCRT.

We have recently implemented this functionality in SecureCRT 9.0 beta 1 (for Windows). Prior to this release, the first session opened would dictate the font/character encoding/zoom level for any subsequent sessions launched in tabs.
