Hi Tal,

We have seen this issue with SecureCRT 5.1 in the past.

You can download SecureCRT 6.2.1 from the following location:
http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/download.html
Do you see this behavior in the latest version of SecureCRT?

Hi Tal,

Thanks for the update.

If your license is not eligible to upgrade to SecureCRT 6.2.1, you are welcome to install SecureCRT 6.2.1 in evaluation mode to see of the problem is resolved.

Either way, I look forward to finding out of this problem persists in SecureCRT 6.2.1.

thanks for your response

according to my system administrator we don't have licnence for 6.2.1, so i prefer do not install evaluation version.
i will ask the next employee that will get 64bit in the company, to install the 6.2.1.
thanks Tal

Hi Tal,

Thanks for the update.

I thought I would point out one last thing. You can use the following link to determine the most current version of SecureCRT you are eligible to use:
http://www.vandyke.com/pricing/upgra...urecrt_el.html
It may be possible that you license would allow you to upgrade to a version of SecureCRT that did not have the problem you have reported since you are not able to upgrade to the newest version.

What is the exact build of SecureCRT 5.1 that you are using (Help / About SecureCRT...)?

Hi Tal,

While your license may not be eligible to upgrade to SecureCRT 6.2.1, it should be eligible to upgrade to SecureCRT 5.1.4 which should resolve the problem you are having with the "8" key until your company purchases licenses for the native 64-bit SecureCRT 6.2.1 installer.

Does this help to answer your question?

Does installing SecureCRT 5.1.4 resolve the issue you have reported?
