SecureCRT crash when starting zmodem download

A colleague of mine is trying start a zmodem download from a server and everytime he try to start the transfer SecureCRT crash with the error "SecureCRT experienced a fatal error and must close....." then a crashdump is created.

He is using SecureCRT 6.5.1 Build 410 (x86) and Windows XP Professional SP3.

Is there somewhere i can upload the crashdump since it's a 18mb zip file?

Hi gan,

We do have options for you to upload the crash dump to us. To start the process, I will need you to send an email to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Attn: Todd - Forum Thread #4895.

Would you send this email when you have a chance?

Thank you, I just sent the email.

By the way he was using version 6.5.0 when creating the crashdump. Tried a upgrade to 6.5.1 with the same result so it seems like both 6.5.0 and 6.5.1 have this problem.

Hi Gan,

Thanks for the update, and additional testing and information.

I have responded to your email so that you can upload the zipped crash dump. It would be helpful if you would upload a crash dump from 6.5.0 and 6.5.1. If you are not able to upload the second file, please respond to my email.
