Server disconnected: A protocol error occurred. Too many authentication failures

Starting today, we are seeing this error when using vcp to send data to sFTP server. The user/pw credentials are valid but the server is refusing all the time.

How do we fix this? Should I post a verbose log here?

Hi Shane,

You seem pretty convinced it is a server issue. Is the remote server VShell?

You can post your vcp log in the forums, redacting any sensitive data, or send it as an attachment to an email to support@vandyke.com and reference Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #13909 in the subject line.
