Importing XLRD library to securecrt

Hi,

I would like to import xlrd library to my securecrt Python script to work on excel files , is there any way to do it !!
i am using securecrt 8.5

Hi myehiaa,

Thanks for the question. As we mentioned in our response to your email, there is currently no way to import the XLRD library in SecureCRT's Python implementation on Windows.

A feature request has been added for the Windows version of SecureCRT to include the XLRD library, and if/when it is implemented, we will post here with news.

Hi myehiaa,

Our QA/Dev team wanted me to advise you that SecureCRT 9.0 Beta 4 can use the xlrd module as long as it has been installed. (The module is not included by default with Python 3.)

If you would like to test this functionality out, you can do so by downloading SecureCRT 9.0 Beta 4 here:
