Logging to File stops

I am on this version of Vshell: Version 3.9.3 (x64 build 656) running on W2K08 R2 sp1

All of the sudden the logging to a file simply stopped at the end of the 00:00:20 mark. I was able to resume logging after the service was reset.
Any ideas, why stopped? This is the second time in a couple of months.

thanks,

-alfredo

Hello Alfredo,

Are you saying, for example, that the *last entry* in 20140401.log was at 00:00:20 mark?

If so, did the log file 20140402.log get created?

Because VShell logs on a "per day" basis, this would be the expected behavior.

It does not necessarily stop on a dime at midnight, but may continue writing to the log file the messages that were buffered.

If logging stops entirely, that could be a different issue though, so please clarify.
