Google search on selected text

How can I use the new "Google search on selected text" i can't find it in any settings

Hi angelgtc87,

This capability is available in SecureCRT version 9.0.

In order to "Google search" a selection from SecureCRT's terminal window, you must have "Paste on [right] button" disabled under the Global Options > Terminal category (or you need a keyboard that allows you to pull up the context menu if that particular option is enabled).

Simply select whatever portion of text you wish to search for in the terminal window, then right-click on the selection (or use your keyboard's context menu button), and select "Google Selection" from the drop-down context menu, as seen below:



Once you've done so, the default browser should open up with a Google search of the selected text.
