How do I find out the sftp version?

Hi

How do I find out the SFTP version associated with vsftp installation? I can see this when I try.
Code:
vsftp> version
Remote vendor information is not available from this server.
Sftp protocol version: 3
vsftp> Server disconnected: Disconnected by application.
Does that mean that SFTP version being used is 3? In that case, how do I find out the hotfixes applied on the same?

Hi dnn,

The SFTP version is typically negotiated between the client and server. In your example, SFTPv3 is being negotiated.

If you are actually trying to find out which version of vsftp is installed, you can use the following command-line
vsftp /?
We don't release hotfixes or patches for ClientPack. If you want to run the version with the most recent fixes, you would install the current official release of ClientPack which you can download from the following location:
http://www.vandyke.com/download/clie.../download.html
You can check your upgrade eligibility at the following location:

Does this help to answer your question?
