Using quick sync I can copy (upload/download) a file from a "source" directory to a "target" directory, but I can find no way to get an deletion from the "target" directory when a file is deleted from the "source" directory.
What I am looking for is often called "mirroring" or "complete syncing". Maybe this belongs in some other Forum other than 4.0 Beta, but I wanted to get a reaction about its possible implementation now or at some future date. Thanks. |

Hello Greg.
There currently isn't a way to do a delete using Quicksync in SecureFX. The SecureFX 4.0 Beta version now supports a Drag and Drop Move which you can do by holding down the Alt Key when you drag the file, however. You can also move a file using the SFXCL command line tool by using a /move flag. I have created an entry for you in our feature request database for adding the Move functionality to the Quicksync in SecureFX. If you would like to be notified via e-mail, should a version of SecureFX become available that allows you to move files with Quicksync, please send e-mail to support@vandyke.com and reference this forum thread. Right now, adding that functionality is not currently on the roadmap. Thanks JJH |
