Launching multiple telnet session in single instance from command line

Hi,

Using SecureCRT for Mac, I would like to launch multiple telnet sessions from CLI in different windows without creating different SecureCRT instances

For every telnet session I would like:
a new window of SecureCRT to be created
I DON'T want a new instance of SecureCRT to be created

From GUI I just have to use the "connect" icon and the new sessions have different window and same SecureCRT instance.

How can I achieve the same from CLI?

If i Run:

/Applications/SecureCRT.app/Contents/MacOS/SecureCRT /N "Tab Title 1" /TELNET <host 1> &
/Applications/SecureCRT.app/Contents/MacOS/SecureCRT /N "Tab Title 2" /TELNET <host 2> &
/Applications/SecureCRT.app/Contents/MacOS/SecureCRT /N "Tab Title 3" /TELNET <host 3> &

I see three windows but I also see three different SecureCRT instances being launched

If I set "D:"Single Instance"=00000001" in Global.ini or use the /T option, I see all sessions opened in the same SecureCRT instance but as different tabs in the same window.

How do I get different windows in the same SecureCRT instance?

Thanks

You cannot accomplish what you want natively from the command line since there's no option to tell SecureCRT that you a) don't want to start a new instance AND b) don't want to connect in tabs.

Is there a reason why it doesn't work for you to open the connections in tabs initially from the command line and then right-click each tab and choose "Send to new window" to get your separate windows?

What is it about starting new instances of SecureCRT that is unacceptable or undesired in your situation?
