Global Setting for Username/Passwords

Is there a way to update/change the Username and Password fields for multiple sessions that all use the same credentials in one place & only once? I looked at the Global.ini and SSH2.ini but didn't have any luck.

I have many SSH sessions that all share the same credentials. Each time my password expires I have to update the same credentials in each sessions properties. Furthermore, I often share my files with others but have to change the username and password fields for each session.

Hi houdema,

If you are saving credentials in the Connection / SSH2 category of the Session Options dialog, then you can use the tip at the following location to edit the Default Session and then apply the change to all existing sessions:

Does this help?

Hi Todd,

Don't know how I missed that, I've been in that window many times. Actually, the selective option works best for me as I have a combination of SSH and Serial sessions. The serial are a separate group. So this is perfect, just what I needed.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear that the tip that I indirectly and unknowingly referenced help. For those that read this later, here is the tip that illustrates how to change multiple sessions from the Connect dialog or the Session Manager:
