I'd like to be able to have the program use a different color for folders that it does for files, and even better, select different colors for different file types (i.e. *.php files could be green, *.css files yellow, *.js files orange, etc.) all for the purpose of easy readability and faster finding by eye.

Can any of this already be done that I've missed?

Hi bugmenot,

If the remote server shell is sending the color data, SecureCRT can display it by enabling the ANSI Color option located in the Terminal / Emulation category of the Session Options dialog.

You may want to use the Xterm emulation as well.

Does this help you accomplish your goal?
