Lightbulb Feature Request: Flatpak or Snap Linux installer

Instead of using native .deb or .rpm installers, is it already on the roadmap to have a Linux SecureCRT installer via Flatpak or Snap? It would be a huge help and free some of us Linux users up to jump distros without (much) fear of breaking scrt.

We don't currently have any time line for implementing Flatpak/Snap installers of SecureCRT for Linux.

However, I've created a Flatpak/Snap installer feature request for you and should something like this ever become available in a future version of SecureCRT, we will be happy to post news of it here.

+1 on flatpak support. It is silly to provide rpm or deb instead of flatpak.
Program for flatpak and drop deb/rpm support please.

I'll plus one on the App Image request as well. This would save time and keep me purchasing licensing and remove the headache of having to worry about not having a organized list of remote clients this more advanced ssh client whenever I need to update my linux system.

Hi nstevermer,

We have also captured your +1 to create a flatpak installer for SecureCRT. As Brittney noted last week, we will be sure to post here if a flatpak installer becomes available in the future.

If you would prefer to receive direct email notification, please send an email message to support@vandyke.com, with "ATTN: Feature Request, Forum Thread #14413" as the subject.
