How to prevent frequent dir refresh?
I'm using SecureFX to update some directories on a remote machine.
I had to transfer several hundred tiny files. After EACH file was transferred, the directory display for the remote machine was refreshed. Since this directory had hundreds of files in it, this took a noticeable amount of time. Is there any way to prevent the folder display from refreshing after every transfer? I'd rather just have the folder display refresh once after all the files were transfered. |

Hello CasaDelGato,
It is not currently possible to disable the directory listing refresh that occurs after each file transfer. I have entered a feature request regarding this capability. In the event that such a feature is implemented, we will post here. If you would like to be contacted personally, feel free to send us a note with your request and a reference to this forum thread (3085). |

I would like to know if this feature request to disable directory refresh after each upload/rename was implemented in any release. I am facing the same challenges and do not find much support on it.

Hi ITInfrastructur,
No, this full capability has not been implemented in SecureFX. Please respond via email to the questions I asked in my response to you.

Disable directory refresh
I'd also like to see that feature. I have a folder with more than 90,000 subfolders. SecureFX cannot handle it and stays "not responding" forever.
