ctrl+c does not stop tail -f

i'm using securecrt for mac 8.3.1,
when i connect to a linux server and run tail -f command,
ctrl+c does not stop it, instead, it prints ^C,
but other commands, like ping, ctrl+c works fine,
does anyone have any idea about this?
thanks in advance.

Hi romber,

What is the emulation you have configured in the session to the Linux server? (Terminal / Emulation category of Session Options)

If anything other than Xterm, if you switch to Xterm and disconnect/reconnect, what are the results?

Hi romber,

When connected to the remote server, please run the command "stty -a". Please post the resulting output.
