cannot close ssh2 tab

When a ssh2 connection is 'lost' (such as when the server is rebooted) I am unable to close nor disconnect the SecureCRT tab.
This means I have to wait for the connection to timeout before closing or reusing the tab.

Telnet connections are ok. This symtom is in beta 3 (it was not in beta 2)

Let me know if you need more details.

And I believe this is the same problem I experience when I come out of hibernation sometimes, on my laptop. I get hung tabs, and they cannot be disconnected, reconnected (as they think they are still connected) or closed. I have experienced this in every beta so far.

I'm seeing the exact same issue, with build 845.

From the keyboard?

Of course, you'll want to have tabs on (view -> session tabs) :-)

But even so, this makes the tab closable with mouse click only. Need a menu option and preferably also a keyboard shortcut (ctrl-w comes to mind). Even if the ctrl key only worked if the session was no longer active (I tend to have "clear on disconnect" unselected) this would be a great help.

This sound similar to an issue that was just fixed, but didn't make it into beta 4. If you'd like to try an interim build, please send me an e-mail at
