Hi Hang,
Quote:
Has secureCRT work smtplib.SMTP to get it work in python? I still see the "_socket" not supported error message.
No, they are still feature requests.

I have added this thread to the following feature requests in our product enhancement database:
  • Add support for _socket to SecureCRT/Windows (Python)

  • Add support for smtplib
Should a future release of SecureCRT include either feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread 13877" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.

Feature requests are typically prioritized based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the number of requests and the amount of implementation work required. We have received requests for this feature, but it has not yet become a top priority for implementation.

Is it possible to do this without using smtplib?
I do not know the answer to that. Perhaps someone in the community will chime in.
