Hi manish1186,

Version 6.7 is about a decade old now!

Send an email to support@vandyke.com and include your SecureFX serial number (Help / About SecureFX…) in the body of the email and we can check your eligibility for a newer version. (Make Forum Thread #13975 the subject line of the email.)

Support of UTF-8 filenames was added in v7.3:

Changes in SecureFX 7.3 (Beta 1) -- August 7, 2014
--------------------------------------------------
New features:

  • Added a new session option "Display Filenames using UTF-8 encoding" that specifies that files should always be displayed in UTF-8.

Or, you can check your eligibility here.

You might also accomplish this via an INI change:
  • Take note of config folder location in the General / Configuration Paths category of SecureFX's Global Options

  • Close all instances of SecureCRT and SecureFX

  • Go to config folder location, inside Sessions subfolder and locate session's INI (or Default.ini if it's an ad hoc connection)

  • Make the following change:
    D:"Filenames Always Use UTF8"=00000000
    to
    D:"Filenames Always Use UTF8"=00000001
  • Save changes
