Success! I tried a couple of things on my own...

First, I upgraded to the latest OpenSSL.
Secondly, I upgraded to the latest OpenSSH and overwrote all config files...

It still didn't work...

Heheheh. :) No, unfortunately, it doesn't... It just says that publickey authentication failed. :) I'll bring this up on the OpenSSH mailing list and if I get anything good from it, I'll let you...

Wow. Oddly enough, it just asks me for a password instead of using the key... I figured it wasn't a SecureCRT problem, but I'm still stumped, looks like I'll have to take it to the OpenSSH people. ...

Alright, generated a keypair on the server, popped the public key into authorized_keys, and downloaded the file (using sftp) onto my machine at home. I then directed SecureCRT to use the private key...

Alright, just gave that a try, Mike, and it popped out the identical key, with the same results. :) I probably DID do it with -i before... :)

The public/private key was generated by SecureCRT.

I uploaded it to the server via SSH (Using keyboard-interactive auth) by simply doing this:

server #cat > ~/.ssh/identity.pub...
