Hello space,

SecureCRT is not officially supported on macOS Catalina. I have captured a feature request on your behalf to add such support.

We will post here to notify you if a version of SecureCRT is released that is supported on Catalina.

I am interested to see if this behavior is persistent in our most recent alpha version. Would you be willing to test with our latest alpha version?

If so, or if you would like to be notified directly, please send an email to support@vandyke.com and include *"Feature Request - Forum Thread #13929"* in the subject line.

If you're not sending the email from the same email address associated with your VanDyke Software download account, please let us know what it is in your email message.

SecureCRT 8.5.4 is not supported on the macOS 10.15 Catalina platform.

SecureCRT version 8.7 has resolved the Command+V problem for a number of individuals who are running macOS 10.15. SecureCRT 8.7 is currently in public beta and can be downloaded from the "Beta Releases" section of our web site.

Once you have 8.7 installed, please note that if you are logging output from SecureCRT you may also need to make sure that your mac's Security and Privacy settings are configured to allow SecureCRT access to your Documents folder -- otherwise, the inability to write to the log file may also adversely affect your ability to perform Command+V operations.
