Hi Eric,

The VShell internal user database currently only allows SCP, SFTP and FTPS/FTP connections.

I have created a feature request to add the ability to use Shell, Remote Execution, Port Forwarding and Remote Port Forwarding connections as well. I have also created a feature request to enhance the VShell internal user database documentation. Should a future release of VShell have this capability or enhanced documentation we will post to this thread.
