How do I enable and change change login action on multiple sessions at once?

I have a lot of sessions already configured that do not have the login actions enabled nor configured. Is there a way to update those all at once??

Hi brfrankl,

Without knowing what version of SecureCRT or SecureFX you are using, I can provide you with the general method for editing multiple sessions.

It is possible to edit all existing sessions by modifying the Default Session in the General / Default Session category of the Global Options dialog.
  1. Make any desired changes to the Default Session.
  2. Press the OK button
  3. You should be presented with the following warning:

    ---------------------------
    SecureCRT
    ---------------------------
Do you want to apply the changes that you made to the Default Session to ALL of your sessions?

WARNING: There is no UNDO for this change.

    ---------------------------
    Yes No
    ---------------------------
  4. If you want to make the changes to all existing sessions, press the Yes button.
Does this help you accomplish your goal?

Hi brfrankl,

Thanks for the version. Please let us know if editing the default session does help you accomplish your goal.

Additionally, in SecureCRT 6.2.3, you can edit a group of session from the Connect dialog by selecting a folder, or Ctrl+clicking multiple sessions. These methods would allow you to edit a smaller group of sessions if you have different Logon Actions needed based on the session.
