Realtime higlighting och certain text-combinations

Hi

I am using SecureCRT daily and I am very happy with the product!

However, I lack a feature that I am not certain exists or not. Anyone that can bring lights over this?

I would like the product to, in realtime, highligt certain text-strings with a different color. In other words a find-function that immediately shows me if a search-string (like a specific IP-address or something) shows up in the terminal.

Perhaps this can be done by scripting?

I am glad SecureCRT works well for you.

This is not currently possible with SecureCRT. Also, I am not aware of a way to accomplish this using scripting.

As a note, there has been a note posted on another forum thread regarding using IE to display certain output. It is not exactly what you were looking for but some customers have found the script helpful to accomplish that same thing.

Can you describe your environment/situation a little more? There are solutions for various environments, and without knowing more details about yours, I don't want to push on a rope...

Keyword highlighting has been added to SecureCRT 6.5, which is currently in pre-beta testing. This feature allows whole words to be highlighted as bold or reverse video. If you would be interested in trying it, please send e-mail to me at Maureen.Jett@vandyke.com.
